AR Game Clock Museum

Vienna's Clock Museum AR Game

Augmented Reality

Project Type: AR Location-Based Game

Client: Vienna Clock Museum

The Vienna Clock Museum, home to one of the most extensive clock collections in Europe, sought to make its exhibits more engaging for young adults and teenagers. While the museum is popular with school groups and clock enthusiasts, they wanted a game-like experience to attract a broader audience.

Why Augmented Reality?

AR allowed us to transform the museum into an interactive game without altering the physical exhibits. Visitors could:

  • Look inside clocks and Watch intricate clockwork mechanisms come to life with X-ray-like vision.
  • Interact with the clocks and learn how they work.
  • See historical clocks in their original settings.

Our Role:

Turning Vision into Reality

In close collaboration with Vienna Museum, ArchäoNOW (game design), and Daniel Rachbauer (graphic design), we developed a fully interactive AR treasure hunt.

Advisory & Concept Development

We presented AR possibilities, shaping the best approach for the museum’s needs.
